Flower Garden Skull
by John McKernan
|
Yellow tulips
Through brown eyes
Iris past the throat
And broken teeth
Waving a purple flag
Without a trace
Of perfume or sound
Twin gold lilies
Float from the ears
Nature poetry
Needs to be
Like a skier
Or molten lava
Always above ground
